Thanks! I was trying to find a way to do a humorous poem that still seemed like it fit the world (so no limericks, heh). And I'll be honest, after I wrote the first stanza I spent the next several trying to figure out how to incorporate the word "goat" in a way that poked fun at Costis and Eugenides without poking fun at Irene (because that seems like a good way to get killed in Attolia ^_^).
