The squee never stops: The Squee Heard Round the World

[livejournal.com profile] afterandalasia, who is phenomenal, has been podficcing. Among other things, she's recorded the Slave Aladdin series, started by [livejournal.com profile] imaginary_golux on [livejournal.com profile] disney_kink and continued by myself and [livejournal.com profile] mercuriazs.

You can listen to them here:

Jafar's Boy
Anima
It's Lonely at the Top

As you may have gathered by the title of the series, the first two of these feature explicit depictions of rape. (The last one only contains references to rape.) You've been warned.

No lie, I kind of had to psych myself up before listening. It's weird how awkward I found the idea of listening to my story read aloud. But it was totally worth it, [livejournal.com profile] afterandalasia did a splendid job.

The squee never stops: Rare Ladies of Squee

The [livejournal.com profile] rarewomen stories have been revealed, and I got a follow-up to "The Hundredth Dream of Carol Oneir"!

You can read it here:

Dream On by Qem

It's got some really chewy ideas about how Carol's growth as an artist affected the events of the original story, as well as fun ideas about what happened to the Cast of Thousands afterwards. I'm really quite happy with it.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you that Miles is a charming and intelligent young man; I've been enjoying his company immensely. He's made plenty of friends, and taken to the social opportunities at school with a great deal of verve. (For more details, please see the attached disciplinary reports from Principal Hatter.)
