dropsofviolet's birthday! She wrote me Julia/Janet--as far as I know the only Julia/Janet on the internet[1]--and, on delicious, she has one of my stories tagged with "great prose," so she is all right in my book.

[1] As opposed to Julia/Janet/Roger, which I wrote, and except for a couple of lines in this one Harry Potter crossover on ff.net, which, um. Linking is not endorsement. It's got a certain charm as it was clearly written by two kids throwing together whatever came into their heads, but that sort of thing is more fun for the writers than for the readers.
