Things I have writ recently
Jan. 6th, 2013 08:02 pmSo, yuletide reveals happened . . . almost a week ago . . . so it can now be told that I wrote Constant for
el_staplador. The fandom is The Count of Monte Cristo, and the story itself is a character study of Fernand Mondego, thus continuing my yuletide tradition of justifying the ways of assholes to fans. (Last year I wrote Rounded With a Sleep, about Jordan Warrick. It's not my fault, I just keep getting these assignments! They're fun, though, maybe next year to keep up my streak I should only offer characters who are jerks.)
Also, it was
imaginary_golux's birthday. Golux is a fellow fan of twisted fairy tales, so I wrote her The Queen's Favorite, which retells the story of the princess and her servant on the road from Grimm's "The Goose Girl," with more rape. (I didn't put that subtext in there, I swear.) Warning: there is rape.
