Well, despite what you may have read elsewhere on the internet, the thing I've been fiddling with is set between Diplomatic Immunity and Cryoburn, and there shouldn't be any need to have read Cryoburn in order to appreciate it fully. In fact, so far you really only need to have read through A Civil Campaign in order to be up to speed, but that may change. If I ever write more.
